Riding a majestic elephant through the wild, following the stealth walk of a preying royal Bengal tiger; watching from a hideout as a one-horned Rhinoceros crashing through the undergrowth or being able to see the magnificent Asiatic Lion’s pride in scrub forest. These are probably some of the most thrilling moments in any wildlife enthusiast’s life and just some of things we can help you experience. India is home to 350 species of mammal, nearly 1,400 species of birds and 600 species of reptiles and amphibians plus a myriad of insects and flowers. Some rare and threatened animal and bird species found here include Wild Asiatic Asses, Gangetic River Dolphins, Snow Leopard, Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger etc. Several other large animals like Leopards, Sloth and Himalayan bears, Wild Buffalo, Gaur (Indian Bison), Nilgai (Bluebull) and several species of deer and antelope are found here. Indian Wolf, various species of Fox, Golden Jackal and the Dhole or wild dog are also widely distributed. It is also home to Striped Hyena, Macaques, Langurs and several mongoose species. Reptiles such as Indian Cobra, King Cobra and other species, Ghariyals and muggers etc. add to the biodiversity of the Indian jungles.
